Laura, I appreciate your thoughts on leadership, extroverts and introverts. In terms of networking I have also researched the different styles, strengths and challenges of each style. I find that introverts can be great networkers although people tend to think that it is the extroverts who are better at networking. The extroverts may be more comfortable at mingle events where there's a lot of stimulus and activity; however, introverts are great at connecting with people one-on-one.

What I find is most important is that we notice and understand our style so that we can honor our strengths and also appreciate and growth with our challenges.

Thanks,
Donna

Charlotte, I got "goose bumps" reading your post. (I had a very similar experience years ago.) I am so grateful you are fine - healthy, wealthy, wise and wonderful! Thank you for sharing your experience so beautifully and congrats to you for having such a strong community of women friends! I love your bullet points regarding "women rock because"..... SO TRUE!

Ladies you are using the language of my product 'Appreciation' and now it come gift wrapped for the Holiday. Yes Donnna, William James said it, the deepest principle in human nature is the craving to be appreciated. And that quote is on my bottle! It's a great gift and acknowledgement and everyone can use it!

Donna: I feel like you read my diary! Dancing is an activity which brings me joy, and yet I find I have not sought out ways to include it in my life anymore. Great observation.

How to find joy daily is summed up in being grateful to God for the many gifts I've received: family, health, work I love and the interesting people I meet through it.

Helping others see themselves or their companies through a new perspective...helping them to embrace the many challenges they've viewed as impossible to overcome or work through, and encouraging them...as I see them do just what they thought was impossible!

Pat, great information on the importance of recognition. I believe that people are yearning to feel heard and be acknowledged/recognized. It's human nature to desire to be recognized (known for who we are!).

For anyone who's interested in more information on the topics, there's a free article on my site that includes information about the Power of Praise. http://donnafisher.com/increaseyourpower.html

Here's Joan Portman response to blog:
Yes, taking world-wide is the plan. The patients, families and staff are so appreciative. It's very gratifying to witness a dream transform before your eyes, and to see the positive effects of Feng Shui priciples.

The one 10 year goal that will give me a twinkle for the rest of my life will be knowing that I have helped my brother, who was diagnosed with epilepsy at the baby age of 16. Knowing that I helped him accomplish and/or get near his goal of pursuing archeology...now that will give me a priceless diamond twinkle.

What will make the biggest difference in my life twenty
years in the future is total cleansing -
physical, mentaland emotional bodies....all squeaky clean!

Eliminating toxins on all three levels will insure health
on all three levels.

Following that I intend on re-building
healthy cells on all three levels.

PHYSICAL:
Rest, exercise, clean diet,
daily replenishing of stem cells and FLOSSING!

MENTAL:
Clearing negative thoughts via my T.N.T. Process.

EMOTIONAL:
Clearing Fear/Anger/Guilt via numerous techniques from
journaling/collage/EFT, etc.

Fortunately, the SPIRITUAL body is already whole/complete
and perfect; we only need to check in and experience its
Beingness to keep it in our daily earth experience.

Love it!
It requires a certain level of expanded consciousness to put yourself in another's shoes and notice what would make the other feel more comfortable and loved.

Joan Portman is such a being. I applaud her creativity and
follow-through in such a worthwhile and generous project. Thank you on behalf of all who have benefited from your generosity!
